How to Install Crane Tires?

For the adjustment of horizontal tire deflection, mutual neutralization and offset should be considered. Before adjusting the tire, first jack up the end beam (or equalizing beam) to make the tire suspended, and then loosen the fastening bolts for adjustment.

Ⅰ. Materials of crane tires

The tire is made of ZG340-640 (CL60) and quenched by advanced power frequency heat treatment.

Therefore, the tire assembly accuracy and the horizontal and vertical deflection of each tire can be ensured, and then the tire set can be installed. This structure has the advantages of convenient installation and disassembly, high assembly accuracy and stable operation, and is an advanced technology often adopted in China in recent years.

The choice of tire diameter and material is based on the bearing force of tires under unfavorable working conditions, so as to ensure that some tires will not be overloaded. The tread and the inner side of the rim of the tire shall not have defects that affect the operation performance, nor shall they be welded.

Ⅱ. The installation of crane tires

The tightness of two groups of driving mechanisms of cranes driven separately should be carefully adjusted during assembly; The speed difference between two cart motors should be carefully checked and repaired.

The tightness of the two sets of brakes should be properly adjusted: check the gear wear of speed reducer and coupling, and update both sides at the same time; Attention should be paid to the installation of tapered tread tires with the big head facing inward.

When dealing with rail gnawing, the distance between the two rails of the crane will become smaller after the main girder of the crane bends down.

When the rail gauge is small to a certain extent, the trolley with a single outer rim may derail when running. For cars with double rims, rail clamping will occur during operation.

At this time, flame correction should be adopted to adjust the camber of bridge span, and reinforcement should be carried out to make the rail gauge within the tolerance zone. Pay attention to jacking the middle of the main girder when flame is used to correct the downward deflection of the main girder or replace the rail.

There are many reasons for rail gnawing caused by the deformation of the bridge mechanism, and the repair should be specific. If the vertical diagonal deviation of the bridge is out of tolerance, flame should be used to correct the structural deformation. If tire deflection causes rail gnawing, it should be analyzed and determined which tire with small workload and good effect should be adjusted, and the passive tire should be adjusted as much as possible.
