What Are the Reasons for the Rapid Tire Wear of Solid Telehandler Tires?

1. The tire pressure of the telehandler tires is low

When the tire pressure of a solid telescopic forklift truck tire is lower than the standard value, the tire radial deformation will increase, and both sides will be excessively bent, so that both sides of the tire crown will be grounded. Large, alternating stress. Periodic compression deformation will speed up the fatigue damage of the cord, and increase the relative slip between the tire ply and the tire and the ground environment. The increasing heat generated by friction problems will cause serious tread wear.

2. Tire load and speed of telehandler tires

Under a certain load and tire pressure, with the increase of vehicle speed, tire deformation frequency, carcass vibration, and tire circumferential and lateral deformation will increase, the heat generated by friction per unit time will increase, and the working performance of the tire will decrease. There will even be cracking of the ply and peeling of the tread, which accelerates the wear and damage of the solid telehandler tires.

3. The telehandler tires are overloaded

At a certain tire pressure, the flexural deformation of the telescopic forklift tire becomes larger due to the tire overload problem, and the stress of the cord and the cord continues to increase. This is easy to cause the cords at the sidewall to be broken, loose and the cord delamination. The force of the carcass cord will exceed the different stresses of the system design and the tire grounding working pressure, the heat generated can increase, and the temperature level of the carcass will increase. The capacity of load-carrying management has declined, causing tires to wear too quickly.

4. The telehandler tires are in a high temperature environment

The high temperature environment will reduce the tearing strength, elongation and hardness of the telescopic forklift tire. For high-temperature tires, especially aging tires, it is easy to tear the crown pattern when it slides or rolls over obstacles.

5. The telehandler tires are corroded

The telehandler tires are corroded by grease, acid and alkali, and exposed to high temperature for a long time, the physical and chemical properties of the tire will change, the load-bearing capacity will be greatly reduced, and the tire will easily burst during use. In addition, corroded tires may peel off the block material of the air-sealing layer, a small area of rubber concrete at the tire mouth, and the carcass cord and rubber may peel off.

6. The load distributed by the front and rear axles of the telehandler tires is different

Due to the difference in the load distribution of the front and rear axles of the telescopic forklift tires, the work development characteristics of the driving wheels and the steering wheels, and the differences in the road management conditions, the wear research status information of the tires is inconsistent. If the company does not replace the tires of the same factory with the same product size, structure, level and pattern on both sides of the same axle, it will accelerate the wear of the tires. In use, if you do not pay attention to reasonable matching and regular shifting, resulting in uneven loading of forklift tires, tire wear will also be accelerated.
