RADIAL OFF THE ROAD TIRE LIMITED WARRANTY
ELIGIBLE PARTY OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY
This limited warranty covers all radial OTR tires presented & provided by Ortec
The original purchaser or authorized agent of the original purchaser of new Ortec brand radial off the road tires bearing complete serial numbers are eligible for the benefits of this limited warranty.
WARRANTY PERIOD
The limited warranty is in effect for 4 years commencing on the date of issue on Bill of Lading(B/L), or the date of manufacture indicated on the serial number.
COVERAGE
Under the circumstances that an Ortec radial OTR tire becomes unserviceable due to manufacturing defects, such tire will be covered by this limited warranty. Ortec, at its option, will:
repair or replace it with a comparable new OTR radial tire;
discount on a pro rata basis, or issue an appropriate credit in favor of the eligible party.
The customer charge for replacement will be calculated by [Adjustment Benchmark Price (exclusive of taxes)] × [adjustment percentage determined in the following chart]. In the event Ortec issues a credit, the credit will reflect the discount that would have been included in the foregoing charge.

MEASUREMENT AND CALCULATION OF REMAINING TREAD DEPTH
When measuring, a vernier caliper (or professional caliper) shall be used and the measurement point shall be kept away from the wearing mark. And the vernier caliper (or professional caliper) must be vertical to the bottom of the groove. The point of measurement should be at one groove along the crown centerline or the main groove closest to the tread centerline. Please keep away from ribs and wearing marks when measuring.
Calculation of the remaining tread depth: Measure the depth of four quartering positions around the tire, and the average value of the four positions is regarded as the remaining tread depth.
CASES NOT COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY
Tires repaired, retreaded or sold as scrap tires
Date of issue of B/L is more than 48 months prior to presentation for adjustment. When B/L copies are not available or was not recorded, tires manufactured 48 months prior to presentation.
Tires removed from service more than six months prior to presentation to Ortec.
Irregular wear or tire damage due to: accidents (including puncture, cuts, impact breaks), collision, fire; improper tire mounting, demounting or management including misalignment, wheel imbalance, inflation; misapplication or misuse; improper operations including overload operation, over-speed, abnormal vibration and brake; vehicle mechanical damage; Improper repair and storage.
Mounted with improper inner tube, resistance board and O-ring
The appearance of tires that are intentionally changed
Tires to which materials such as fillers, sealant, ballast or balancing substances intentionally added
Repairs or Retreads.
OTHER
After a claim is settled, the failure tire shall be in the possession of Ortec and be retained, by its authorized agent or itself, for 3 months before being disposed of.
Ortec does not bear any indirect loss, time loss, vehicle loss within the allowable scope of the law.
